What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit our website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to site owners.

How We Use Cookies

We use two kinds of cookies and similar browser storage:

  • Essential: required for the site to work — your bag, your country and currency, your language, and remembering your cookie choice. These are always on.
  • Analytics and advertising measurement (Google Analytics, Pinterest): Google Analytics shows us how visitors find and use the site, and the Pinterest tag tells us which of our Pinterest ads lead to visits, add-to-bag actions and purchases. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland these cookies are only set with your consent; elsewhere they are set by default and you can switch them off at any time. Until you answer the cookie banner, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless mode (Google Consent Mode): it stores nothing on your device and receives only anonymous signals, such as that a page was viewed, without any visitor id. If you decline, nothing is sent to Google or Pinterest.

Our own visit count: we also count visits on our own server without cookies — the date and time, the country (from the network), the page you arrived on, the site or ad that sent you, and whether the device is a phone. No IP address, identifier or cookie is stored, so these counts cannot identify you.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies from any other company.

Third-Party Cookies

Pinterest (Pinterest Europe Ltd. for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland; Pinterest, Inc. elsewhere) sets cookies such as _pinterest_ct_ua, _epik and _derived_epik when the Pinterest tag is allowed. When you place an order with advertising measurement allowed, we also send Pinterest a confirmation of that order from our server (order value, currency, items, and your email and address in hashed, unreadable form) so the purchase can be matched to an ad. See Pinterest’s privacy policy at policy.pinterest.com.

Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd. for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland; Google LLC elsewhere) sets the cookies _ga and _ga_8JQHZM6GEC when allowed, to count visits and see which pages, products and channels lead to orders. When you place an order with measurement allowed, our server also reports the order value, currency and items to Google Analytics under the same anonymous visitor id — never your name, email or address. See policies.google.com.

Stripe and PayPal set cookies on their own checkout pages to process payments securely and prevent fraud.

Managing Cookies

Use Cookie settings in the footer of any page to allow or refuse analytics and advertising measurement at any time. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential storage may stop the bag and checkout from working.

Your Consent

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we ask before any analytics or advertising cookie is set. Until you accept, the Pinterest tag does not load and Google Analytics only receives anonymous, cookieless signals; if you decline, nothing is sent to Google or Pinterest. You can withdraw your consent at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.
